Need Answers?
Why choose us?
We provide full house clearances throughout Ceredigion and the surrounding areas. If you need the property prepared for sale or letting, we can also take care of cleaning, repairs and light decorating so it’s ready without you having to organise multiple trades.
We work methodically and with respect — for the home, for its contents, and for the people connected to it. We don’t rush, we don’t “smash and grab”, and we never overbook. Every job gets the time and care it deserves.
Our approach is eco‑minded from start to finish. We reuse, recycle, upcycle, rehome, resell, or donate as much as possible to keep items out of landfill. As a fully registered waste carrier, all disposal is handled legally and responsibly with public liability insurance of £1 million.
Clients choose us because the process is genuinely stress‑free. Our pricing is transparent, we always turn up when we say we will, and we complete every job in full — no half‑finished clearances, no disappearing acts, no surprises.
Are you a licensed waste carrier?
Yes — we are fully registered with National Resources Wales and hold an upper tier waste carrier licence. If you’d like to check our waste carrier licence before booking, our office can email you the details so you can verify everything in advance. Our waste carrier licence number is CBDU034077.
Using a licensed waste carrier is essential. Even if you never personally dump waste, you can still be held legally responsible if your rubbish ends up fly‑tipped by someone you hired. This falls under the UK’s “duty of care” rules, which require every household and business to make sure their waste is handled and disposed of correctly.
If you use an unlicensed clearance company and they dump your waste illegally, you could face fines of up to £5,000. That’s why it’s always worth checking a company’s registration with National Resources Wales before handing anything over.
We take care of all disposal legally, and responsibly, using fully licensed waste facilities in Aberystwyth and Lampeter — giving you complete peace of mind.
What areas do you cover?
Our house clearance service covers the whole of Ceredigion, including Aberystwyth, Lampeter, New Quay, Cardigan, Tregaron, Aberaeron, Llanarth, Llandysul, and Llanybydder.
We also work in nearby areas just outside the county, such as Machynlleth, Newcastle Emlyn and Tywyn.
If you’re unsure whether your location is included, just ask — if you’re in or around Ceredigion, we can usually help.
Do I need to be at the property during the clearance?
No — you don’t need to be there in person. We can collect the keys from a neighbour, estate agent, solicitor, or another trusted contact. If you prefer, you can also post a key to us using a tracked and recorded service.
We’re happy to provide remote quotes too. You can send photos and details by email, WhatsApp, or SMS, or we can talk everything through with you over the phone.
We understand that house clearances can be emotional, especially after a bereavement, and that many clients have busy lives or live far from the property. Our aim is to make the process as simple and stress‑free as possible, whether you’re on-site or managing everything from a distance.
Will you clear the whole property?
Yes — we clear everything you need removed throughout the entire property. That includes all rooms, cupboards, lofts, garages, sheds, and any outdoor areas that form part of the clearance. Nothing is left behind unless you’ve specifically asked us to keep it in place.
We also sweep and hoover as standard, so the property is left clean and presentable once the clearance is complete.
Our detailed quotes are designed to put your mind at ease. They clearly explain what’s included, how the process works, and what you can expect on the day, giving you full confidence before we begin.
Do you disconnect appliances?
Yes — we can disconnect most standard appliances as part of the clearance. Gas cookers can be disconnected if they’re fitted with a modern flexible hose. If the cooker has an older fixed or welded connection, it will need to be disconnected by a registered gas engineer.
We are experienced in safely disconnecting typical household appliances, with a Level 3 IET 18th Edition qualified electrician on the team. We’ll always let you know in advance if anything needs to be prepared before clearance day.
Can you clean and repair the property?
Yes — we sweep and hoover as standard once the clearance is complete. If you need a deeper clean, we can provide that too.
We also carry out a range of light repairs and finishing touches to help get the property ready for sale or letting. This includes minor fixes, internal painting, and tidying overgrown gardens. A qualified electrician can also take care of minor electrical work directly without needing to bring in anyone else.
Our aim is to make the whole process straightforward and efficient, so you don’t have to coordinate multiple trades or keep returning to the property.
How do I pay?
We take a 25% deposit when you accept the quote, with the remaining balance due once all the work is completed. Bank transfer is our preferred method of payment, but we also accept cash and credit cards.
All waste‑disposal fees are included in your quote. You’ll receive a clear schedule of disposal costs so you can see exactly what’s covered — including higher‑cost items such as fridges, freezers, sofas, and mattresses. This means there are no hidden charges and you know the full cost upfront.
